Erim Celik is a professional tattoo artist originally from Turkiye, now based in York, UK. His journey into art started early, in primary school he won first place in an international painting competition, an experience that gave him the confidence to pursue creative work seriously. He began his tattoo apprenticeship in 2016 and has been tattooing professionally since 2017. Before moving to the UK, Erim ran his own studio in Turkey, where he built a reputation for clean, well-structured tattoos and carefully designed custom work. His style ranges from black & grey to colour pieces, often blending illustrative elements with modern tattoo styles while maintaining the foundations that make tattoos age well: strong linework, balanced composition and thoughtful placement on the body. Coming from a background in illustration and multiple creative disciplines, Erim approaches tattooing as both a craft and a design process. Each tattoo is adapted to the client and the body rather than simply reproducing reference images. Known for his calm and professional approach in the studio, Erim works closely with clients to refine ideas and create tattoos that feel personal, balanced and built to last.
